"Demo at Marshfield 2012 1" --- Sold

I want thank Julie Ulher, Laura Harvey and North River Arts Society of organizing this workshop. I feel very happy meeting this group of wonderful New England artists. Thank you all so much for attending. This is the first demonstration I did. Marshfield is a cozy small town south of Boston. You would love the lobsters here.

Beautiful! Welcome to Marshfield. I'll see you tomorrow as I'm teaching Art Studios for Children at North River Arts, too.

Love this one. I think your little break away from still life has only improved them. You paint everything so well.

Hi Qiang.. Here's hoping we'll see a nice lobster in a painting before you eat it!! I've enjoyed your figure studies and the decision to go forward. Your still life models are almost as 'alive' as the humans, but as Sargent or someone said, 'they don't get up and have an opinion!' Keep on your 'star' track...you've got what it takes to go all the way.

I can see some of your new way of painting the light and shadow from what you are learning in San Fran in this and I think it is especially beautiful.
