"Reflection" --- Sold

I did this painting last year. I look at it yesterday, and I saw lots problems. So I got the same setup, and paint on the top of old painting. It looks much better now I think. If we keep practice, our art will improve day by day.

Lovely painting! Really like the vase in this one, always a challenge getting a pattern to sit on the surface. Nice!

Interesting post and rework. I had to search to find the previous version. From what I can tell, you gave the purple things more contrast (I don't know what those are, but they are in a lot of flower arrangements) and the front edge of the table more light falling on it. What else did you do?

The new painting feels more deliberate and less rushed. I certainly like the new version better.

That is the hope, that with time and lots of practice we'll all improve all of the time. I didn't see the first one but this one is wonderful. Barb
