"Raining in a Small Town" --- Sold

This is my second small figurative painting. I am still working on the fundamental work, which is the accuracy of the human form and the proportion. The artistic aspects of the painting are quite secondary. I would like to work on the improvement  of my human form rendering for a while until I feel satisfied with my accuracy. I am not there yet, so I want to do more this kind of exercises.

You've got some wonderful body language here.. so stylish, it would make a nice large painting, too. (-:

You should check out Complete Guide to Drawing from life by George Bridgman. This is a compilation of books from 1920. It's probably the best book for human anotomy for artist. The style might turn some people off but it's strength is it helps you see 3D and movements.
