I interrupted my research on white colors and come back to my usual way of painting for my today's post. The R&D will keep going, and I will keep you posted. In about an hour, I will be on my way to Phoenix AZ for my 2nd workshop teaching this year. I will let you know how it goes in my next post. See ya.

Love the reflections in the jar and the shadow from the peel that begins on top of the cloth then continues down the side. Nice composition, too.

Lucky students to have you as their workshop teacher!

This piece really holds my attention. I like all the action in the oranges that moves up along the rim of light, and stops my eye at the flash of light at the top. The picture is filled with energy and excitement!

I love the new low angle of this. I also love how you soften edges to make colors bleed into one another. Very nice!

Amazing painting, Qiang! Wish I had access to the computer for the past week as I would have been bidding (visiting parents out of state)! Enjoy your next workshop.

Hi Qiang,

I'm not sure if you've realized yet but the new image viewer that's been put on all blogspot blogs has broken your old articles. When I click on this pic, nothing loads. Other pics load in all sorts of different ways.
