"Frozen Time" --- Sold

I got this old alarm clock in Beijing last December. It probably is older than I am. The time has been frozen who knows when. You know this clock did the same thing as I do daily paintings. Part of my motivation of doing daily paintings is to freeze time. Every painting I did recorded my existence at a specific time. Now with this painting, I froze time twice.

You make it look simple and easy but it is by no means easy!

This shows us the importance of keeping old things. Even as old as it is, this clock is still right twice a day.

This is a very beautiful painting! It has a thoughtful, pleasant feeling to it, about the passage of time, and the treasures to be collected along the way. The red glass is so perfect there, and pulls it all together so nicely. Very well done!

Oh yes, a wonderful painting. I just love your edges, the soft and lost ones. Would you consider making another recording to post on youtube?

What a cool combo! Love the old alarm clock and the red cup. You kept just the right amount of detail.

Amazing! I think this one is the right balance between too much or too tight and too little or too loose. I love it and you kept the colors very clean even with all the raw umber. I'm impressed.
