"Specular"

I am continuing on my gallery paintings. This one I was concentrated on presenting the glossy surface of the copper kettle. A specular surface does not have a specific local color. You must consider the influence from the surrounding colors in terms of reflections. No matter how busy the reflections are, the form of the object must be accurate to produce a convincing representation. It was challenging, but it was fun.

Qiang, you have met the challenge head on and won the prize on this one. The glow of the colors are so indicative of your style...just beautiful! Happy New Year to you, Song and Jonathan!

I think the name of this one should be "spectacular"- you taught me something though with specular. Just beautiful...

Why all of your works are painted on dark background ?
