OPA 2016 National

I have never thought I am going this far in my art career. I am extremely honored to be the demo artist for the 25th National Exhibition and Convention of the Oil Painters of America. Meanwhile I am extremely humbled. So many my teachers will be watching I paint on the stage. I will be nervous for sure, like a student presenting homework project in front of a group of professors, wondering if I am able to pass the test. I will be very honest to tell you that I don't know much in painting, but I will definitely try my best to show my painting process. I hope it will benefit to the OPA Convention participants to know how I work. I am looking forward to meeting or seeing you in Dallas.

Congratulations Qiang! I think you will be fine on stage. You know plenty! Just do what you do in demos. People will be MORE than satisfied! Wishing you the best!

Congratulations Qiang!!
I am so very glad I was able to at least meet you and Song this week. It was such an honor! Nancy T's workshop was very special for me. I would love to attend one of your Austin painting workshops someday as well. Since my daughter lives here in Austin, it may work out one day!

All the best and good luck in Dallas in May ... I will be cheering for you from Alaska. Mike above said it best ... just paint as you normally do and you willbe fine.
Thank you so much again for bringing Nancy T to Austin.
Happy painting!
Teri
