"Demo at Carmel 2013 2" --- Sold

My workshop at Carmel ended today, and this is my second demo. I had a great time here. I really enjoyed painting this small brass clock. In order to help students to see my demo better, I use a projector to show my process enlarged on the wall. Now this time something funny happened. After I painted that clock, we all saw the projected image of the clock was ticking. It was true, I am not kidding. One of the hands of the clock was vibrating. Of course I knew that was caused by the image flickering of the projector, but it was so funny.

Qiang, I must know, what is the title of this lovely painting?

Thanks for a fabulous workshop! I learned so much.

The ticking clock was very funny, it was if your painting process was winding up the clock and when you were finished it came to life. Tick Tock. Thank you for such an inspiring workshop and experience, your teaching process is so well planned, structured, and logical it makes it so much easier to understand. Thank you again and I look forward to future workshops.

That was a funny moment, and for a second you thought anything could happen, huh? But I agree, thank you for taking the time and having the empathy to breakdown the material in such a wonderful way! You have set a new standard for how a workshop should be done. While Kathleen set a new standard for how one should be ran! Can't wait for the landscape class!!
