Yesterday was the Chinese New Year -the year of the Ox. I wish all of you happy. My painting was very smooth as well. Everything was just right. No overwork. I like it.
Obviously your rose is the star of this show - and it's so beautiful, Qiang. But your vase, just a plain brown vase, is so rich with varied colors, you could get lost in it!
No overwork: It shows. My first impression looking at the painting was "my oh my, his brushwork is so efficient." Every stroke an inspiration! Really lovely as always.
My name is pronounced as Chong Wong and I came from China and live in Texas now. I have been painting for many years. Starting from January 2007, I have been generating one painting every weekday, and weekend sometimes. Please enjoy my blog. If you like my work, I would like to thank you, because we have communicated visually and shared a common concept about the world. If you do not like my work, I would also like to thank you, because you have just found room of improvement for me. So please do not hesitate to let me know. I really hope my painting can bring you more happiness today, no matter how small it is.

Wow, very nice Qiang-Huang!
Did you use the same size brush for the whole painting?
Thanks for the beautiful image. Great title.
