I did this plein air painting for a friend of mine. She has turned 9 last week. We camped together at the Burch Creek State Park of Texas yesterday. At midnight, a severer thunderstorm attacked the campsite, flooded her tent, and blew my tent over. We escaped the Park around Five in the morning. Nobody got hurt.Monday, March 12, 2007
"Before the Storm" --- Not for Sale
I did this plein air painting for a friend of mine. She has turned 9 last week. We camped together at the Burch Creek State Park of Texas yesterday. At midnight, a severer thunderstorm attacked the campsite, flooded her tent, and blew my tent over. We escaped the Park around Five in the morning. Nobody got hurt.

This is really beautiful! The colors are perfect and the trees off in the distance are amazing. A truly great painting, Qiang!!!
