When I setup this group, the green vase was rolling. The black vase and the apple came as stoppers and established the stability. In this world we all need other people's support. As a painter, I am very grateful to have the support from my collectors, and my fellow artist friends. Thank you!!!!!!

So true, we are all dependent on each other whether we realize it or not. And I rely only your blog for your simplistic and colorful view of the world! Always so cheerful and well executed as always - thanks! -Erika
The use of color in this piece is really striking!
qiang,
I enjoy getting your blog every day. Your paintings are SO fresh and inspiring. Setting up a still life is one of my challenges, so it does my mind good to see how easy you make it look. I know it is not, and then you have to paint it!

Just discovered your blog...beautiful work! Lovely brushwork and sense of light and color in your pieces.
Solid painting and inspirational write up!
Insightful and beautifully painted...such an inspiration!
I had a thought recently that a measure of an artist is in how they handle their reds. :) And that is one of the things I enjoy so much about your work, is the beautiful Red Control. I find myself tempted to acquire the reddest apples I can find and get to work!
I too have discovered your blog, later than I wished I had.
I'm enthralled with the way you apply your paint, see colors, and show reflected color and light on surfaces.
So much freedom and precision at the same time.
Beautiful, really beautiful work.
wonderful analogy about artists supporting each other. You inspire me, Quaing.
Beautiful painting, as usual.
