I have not painted larger paintings for a while. This one is 9" x 12". It seems really large to me. I definitely need to practice more painting large. I was working on textures with this one. This painting is not on eBay.

Qiang, I think you nailed this one. The Chiaroscuro (translate that to chinese) effect is great. Perhaps you might go up in size again , change the background color and then again go up in size. The small ones will always be Gems. I'll be down your way training with Carol Marine this weekend.

Qiang...nice work on this size. The brushwork translates well in the larger size. I especially like the warmer tones used in the cloth.
