"Green Vase' --- Sold

I guess this is my first time painting a purplish background. Many people have asked me why I use same background and same lighting all the time. Well, I don't have a good answer for this question. I must confess that I am too lazy to change, but I will do better, OK? I promise.

HI,

I love your new background, but I have always liked all of the other backgrounds as well!!!

I love the new look! I'm all about color anyway. Beautiful work as usual.

I enjoyed meeting you at Carol's house and her & Karin's workshop.

Keep painting!

Beautiful, as usual! You do a wonderful job with color and light, no matter what color your background is.

I think the background color works well with this one.
Very spring like. Love it.

I'm a lurker but can contain myself no longer. Your work is wonderful. I look forward to my daily surf on my favourite daily painters to see what wonders they've created. I love the soft purple background. Beautiful!

Your work is stunning. This new background works beautifully, but I hope you won't let other people determine which backgrounds you chose. Your choice for backgrounds is just as much your uniqueness as an artist as your choice and handling of subject.

Yours is one of the blogs I go to every day. Your brushwork and economy of strokes is near breath-taking.

This just took my breath away. As usual, I'm blown away by the economy of strokes, color variations and edgework. But it's really the color combination that just stopped me dead in my tracks today. Simply stunning.
