I am back to my still life painting again. This one is so typical of my small painting style. Do you see anything new on this one? If you say no, I will get my purpose fulfilled. The truth is: this painting is not that small. It is a 12" x 16". I am working on the paint quality today. I want to see my large paintings as painterly as my small ones.

Well, I must say that you have got those reflections on the bottle to be ultra 3D. Happy New Year.

You have succeeded in your quest! This larger painting is every bit as painterly as your smaller ones. Typically superb!

It has that classic look with a strong, new vibe. I love the way you handled the black vase on the dark background. It really pops out without competing with the red. The person who collected this one must be very happy.
