I like how the colors intensify as they move toward darker values...ie: the center of the rose.

Its Kathy from the workshop, greetings to you. Your blog is awesome! How do I do this again? Will ask you more about it later, wish I would have paid more attention when you were talking about it. Or better still have had access to a computer so I could have seen it then. Anyway, I have to run off to the vet and will write more to you later. This is an amazing treatment of light and form. The touch of intense red/orange at the center of the rose is as masterful as is your brushwork.
