"On a Cruise"

This is a very quick plain air sketch I did when I was on the cruise ship to the Caribbean Sea. I have been watching the recent Italian cruise ship sinking. It is shocking to see the a luxurious vocation turned into a nightmare just like that. So value the time you have. Live well and be careful.

I am on the road again. I will be in Scottsdale attending the Putney painters show at the Legacy Gallery. I am so honored to be part of this wonderful group of painters learning art from Richard Schmid.

This is a fantastic painting--just love the brush work. This seems different(more loose) from most of your painting. Yes, the sinking is shocking.

Afin de ne pas oublier que les croisières peuvent aussi bien se dérouler...
Une toile remplie de lumière...

Je suis cependant très choquée de ce qui vient d'arriver avec ce naufrage.
Une pensée particulière à tous...
Gros bisous

This piece looks like a party on a canvas. Love all the bright colors and bold brushwork.

Love how relentless you are with your painting and learning about painting.
