"Colors in October" --- Sold

Above my head, mercury lights are buzzing out radiation, paled like a dead face. In front of my eyes, computer screens are flickering dazzling color, contentless information. Cubicals form a giant labyrinth, guiding the WiFi passing through. Engineers manipulate the invisible stricture, cranking photons into dollar bills. Caffeine drives the whole industry moving forward and one piece of junk barters multimillion.......This is my world. This is my October....... But sometime, I cheat. This is my painting. This is my October.

isn't it great to escape through painting? Another beauty here, Qiang.

This is stunning. I adore the shadows emitting from the bottle and the gorgeously rendered little pumpkin.

Also, your comment is poetic. Beautiful.

Wow Qiang! What a poet you are! Your comment gave me chills. You are that rare guy that deals with the engineer side of your brain and then still excels at using the other side equally well.

I hope you get to spend more time in the coming year on your art and less time in "cubicle-land".

Beautifully stated.

Love the bright blue in the shadows.

Hi Qiang! Beautiful color. Stay as much as possible in the world of paint, and outside of the world of technology. ha ha

This is yummy--love the reflection in the vase, the bold blue to the right-so nice with the pumpkin, which is awesome! Just reads so well from every angle. Always a joy to see your work and to read your words. You have a great humility that shines through in your voice and painting.

Those cubicles loom too large in my daily perspective and that is not where I find true fulfillment. Thank you for reminding me of that. Tess
