"Green and Purple" --- Sold

Sometimes, painting becomes wishful thinking. My last week was one of those times. I have to work overtime for my engineering job. My painting times got encroached. I finally got time to paint last night.

Green and purple are two wonderful colors I would like to use them more. They are kind of complementary, but they have similar color temperatures. Which one is cooler? Hmmm.... It depends.

Lovely grapes, Qiang. Glad you're getting your painting time recouped.

OMG! the grapes look so realistic, how do you do that without using watercolors?

Your paintings are lovely, this is my first visit to your blog. I am a serious beginner, training full-time at an atelier. One of the most challenging aspects of painting or drawing for me is adding chaos to my composition, allowing the viewer to complete the image. You do this beautifully. I look forward to visiting your blog often. Please feel free to visit mine. You will see what I mean about lack of chaos. Regards.
