I have arrived at
Shanghai yesterday afternoon. The hotel is wonderful and the food is excellent.
Due to the jet lag (11 hours time difference), I got up this morning about 4:30
AM. Shanghai is a big big city of 22 million people. There are about 6000 skyscrapers.
When the sun just rises, I took this shot. Good morning Shanghai. All the
members of our painting team arrived safely. the wonderful trip is starting
right now.

I was so disappointed not being able to join you this trip. I DO hope you'll do it again maybe next year. What a privilege to be painting with you...and have your expertise while seeing China.

I admire you ALL for taking such a huge adventure. The length of the flight alone requires one to be brave of heart. Is this your home?
