This and next week, the internationally well known artist Calvin Liang is teaching two 5-days workshops in Austin. He is sharing his magic approaches to plein air painting. I am amazed by his rich organic colors and energetic brush work. We all appreciate this great opportunity to learn from the master. If you admire Calvin's art like I do, I have a good news for you. You and Calvin have a very nice and fresh looking atyle
We were fortunate enough to be able to attend Master artist, Calvin Liang's workshop, held this summer in Laguna Beach, California. It was a 3-day workshop, and I could only wish it lasted for 2 weeks. A 5-day workshop sounds wonderful! I think there is a great deal to be said, for attending one artist's workshop, many times, over a period of one's artistic evolution. We begin to "feel" his unique descriptive words or "lexicon", rather than simply "hear" them. Truly a Master painter and teacher. We are very grateful for Calvin Liang's generous and patient nature.
