I am sorry I don’t have a painting to show you today. I just came back from the OPA National Show at midnight yesterday. It was a great event. I was so excited meeting and seeing so many great artists. The photo above showing I was with the still life painting master David Leffel. I am very grateful to have David as my teacher. I did not win anything this time, but I am very happy that my painting was sold right away at the reception night. I learned a lot this time from observing great paintings, watching masters demos, and discussion with other artists. It was a quite phenomenal and inspirational event.
I went to work as a regular engineer today, but tomorrow I will be on my way to the Texas hill country. I will teach a painting workshop at Cypress Creek, TX starting on Wednesday.

I know how much David's teaching has meant to you and you in turn have filtered those lessons down through your own classes. I am forever grateful for all that I learned in your workshop! Thank you!
Nice to see this happy photo of you! I am sure you soaked up knowledge like a sponge. (smile)
there are two still life painting masters in that picture!
wonderful photo..hope you have a great workshop.
WOW what a wonderful opportunity, meeting with such a well known and great artist! my Uncle studied with him in NY, and sooo many artists have cited his imput into their lives! Your work is also very wonderful, maybe I will have my picture with you someday for my memories!
So happy you went to OPA. What an honor to have one of your paintings chosen for this exhibit. Wonderful photo of you and David Leffel. Thanks for sharing it!
That's an excellent photo! Have fun at the workshop.
Your work and life continues to motivate me to paint. I work full time too, but I always remember that if you can make it work, maybe I can too.
