This is my demo painting at the InSight Gallery last night. About two weeks ago, I got this lovely brass pot at Keene, New Hampshire from an Antique shop, and this is my first time painting it. Because I am doing this painting in front of public, I was a little concerned before I started. I didn’t know how it would turn out. Well, I was relaxed when I saw the result. I guess, I will paint this darned thing more in the future.
Your hard work is paying off. I started viewing your site about a year ago and am impressed at the progress you have made. Your paintings are truly beautiful.

I wish I could have been there Qiang. One of these days I need to watch you in person! How long was the workshop? As usual, a terrific job.
ReplyDeleteWow, nice! I thought I'd try to make it over for your demo but I couldn't. It looks like you did okay without me though! :-)
ReplyDeleteHeard from a friend in Fredricksburg who attended your demo and she and her husband loved it, think they even wanted to buy your painting. And I can see why, it's another one of your "best of show" works!
ReplyDeleteMr. Huang,
ReplyDeleteI have stumbled across your work on Daily Painters about a year ago and have been a fan ever since. I love your work. It has the feeling of Eastern spiritualism and I feel centered and awed when I view it. Thank you.
Couldn't agree more, your work is stunning and makes me want to get the paints out.
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful. The bowl is a great addition to your still life equipment. :)
ReplyDeletevery nice :))
ReplyDeleteAll your paintings are wonderful, but for me, this one stands out like a beacon! I will be attending your Florida workshop in November and cannot wait. I hope you can work some of your magic with me!
