I have been called for some technical consulting by the engineering company. Feeling like a dream, but I am back into my rash hour commuting "job" temporarily. Yesterday I tried to repeat my old routine: technical work during the day and paint in the evening. My life was like that for many years before. But yesterday I felt very different. I was so tired, almost sickly. When I painted this one, my brain was completely dead, I have forgot all of my study about grays and what ever. I have moved back to my "just do it" mode of painting. I moved like zombie, slow and clumsy. Oh! boy. I am old man now. My days are numbered.

  1. I think this means you are enjoying being a full time painter. This is pleasing even if you had to work harder to accomplish it. Good to know you can work on auto pilot! :-)

  2. Ha ha just wait until you're as old as I am! Wish I could paint like this one when I was a tired zombie. Thanks for sharing that! : )

  3. It does look a little like it's floating in mid-air, but still quite beautiful.

  4. You brought a smile to my face! None of us are getting any younger, and it is impossible to go backward in time. But the future is full of wonderful paintings...embrace it!

  5. I don't want to say that some times you like grumbling but I really want to say that you are so gifted you can paint when everything else stops. Be greatful for this, my friend, you gained it through years of dedication and it's all yours. And even if everybody's days are counted anyway, you don't look old at all, you may just need to smile a bit more, it brightens your face and your days and everybody else around you. :)

  7. I immediately loved this painting. That dark place to hide inside the little temple. You made a place for the spirit in all that bright light. Re; your comment, I laughed all the way through it. I thought, join the club as capacity recedes and acceptance grows! :-)
