Using temperature contrast to enhance the colors at the center of focus is an effective method to make the painting looks more colorful.

    I notice that your backgroung were always created in the same way with a black triangle in the left conner which give more light in the objets.
    i like the way you transcribe the light in your painting . I will learn a lot from you .

  4. cool/warm colors baffle me... to me, the apples are cool, the background quite warm, and the blue cloth neutral...is that the way you see them? i experimented with this pic & the one below on the computer, darkening the backgrounds, and the colors of the apples became much warmer to me!

    i like the way the further back apple arises from the shadowy area - subtly dramatic . . .
