We planted rose bushes in the spring, but didn’t realize they were too close to the AC compressor. The Texas summer comes. The high temperature plus more heat from the AC are all dumped on the plant. But to my surprise, they grew well and bloomed. The flowers are so beautiful. I must paint them.

Qiang, this is a really lovely painting.
You inspire me so much. I absolutely LOVE roses and want to paint them, but know I'd get so caught up in every little petal. Here, you have captured the very essence of the rose in a few beautiful strokes.
