I spent the nine months getting rid of all the things that kept me from painting ... this included moving home from a place we had lived in for 26 years. Now I can get at painting in a serious way, and finding your blog is going to help me considerably as I have only ever painted 48 paintings in my whole life! I did Pen & Ink professionally and my blogging buddies finally talked me into paint. However, for some reason I keep procrastinating. I have a painting on my easel that I sketched in that sat there for two weeks, before I put in the background. Now it's been sitting with just the background for a week. I guess it is everyday life that gets in the way. Also, probably too much time on the computer looking at others work instead of workiing.Lokelani Forresthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02653502523287408543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7136908675776802633.post-52242665224618484032015-02-20T03:59:58.769-06:002015-02-20T03:59:58.769-06:00I feel the same about my situation... and even if ...I feel the same about my situation... and even if we have some time for our painting it doesn't mean we paint / work efficiently... and while we know that we can't manage to change "mode"... that's when the anxiety starts. Specially if we only manage to work to prepare classes or workshops. That's not enough to transmit something we believe in or feel comfortable with. <br />So I hope you'll manage to get into your own painting process!! Wish you the best the new year!
